Situated on Japan’s north western coast, Ishikawa is known for its decorative arts and distinctive culinary culture.

Ishikawa at the Table brings together Kutani porcelain, Wajima lacquerware and Yamanaka lacquerware to explore their place within the region’s dining traditions. The choice and arrangement of vessels reflect the season and occasion, revealing an attention to presentation that extends beyond the food itself.
